I just entered MATEGUAS ISLAND in the 2013 Amazon.com contest!  Keep your fingers, toes and eyes crossed that they like my “pitch” (300 words or less pitching the novel).  If they don’t, then I’m out of the contest.  If they do, then it’s on to the 2nd round – 5000 word excerpt.
