This is not your average terror/suspense novel. This is a superiorly written book that makes the fantastical believable. You recognize the struggles of the main characters, and by the end (even though it doesn’t seem so in the beginning), you can see the goodness and ethics the main characters try to live by.
Overall, a fantastic book. I can’t wait until the sequel comes out!
